Offered free tutoring to just about every class I could ever imagine. Beautiful campus, and excellent faculty.

I live on the border of NC/SC but am a SC resident, I've attended both Greenville Tech and Spartanburg Community College and am currently a student at BRCC. I have to say of all the three colleges BRCC is the best of them all, they go out of their way to help you and you are known more by your name and not just a number, the personal touch and willingness of everyone to help students is amazing... I'd highly recommend BRCC to anyone pursuing a 2 year degree.... Gail Gambrell

people FOR FIVE FREAKING YEARS straight who act like it's a punishment to do their job right, rather than help students get through these obstacles like they're paid to do! Oh, and did I mention theres been at least two vehicle thefts (that I knew of) this year, and at least 6 officers on campus that didnt see it till it was too late? Way to make us feel safe guys...Is this what we're paying anywhere from a few hundred to nearly ten thousand dollars a semester for!? Get your act together, Blue Ridge Community College!

Beautiful views, good professors, decent classes. Compared to other community colleges around here, it's great.

I have to admit, this is one of the worst schools I've ever been too, and I went to a high school were students cooked and sold meth, and teachers molested students, as well as faculty. Lets begin with the most important aspect of any school: The teachers. With exception to the english, maintenance, and amazing brewing teachers, the rest were unhelpful, judgemental, overly demanding, and treated it like a punishment whenever I or another student asked them for help with something we didnt understand; You pay WAAAAAYYYYYY to much for college for that EVER to be an issue! With that said, let's face it - college is freaking hard, stressful, and just drains you of everything if you arent prepared. In these circumstances, it usually helps to seek counseling as I did...huge mistake! The counselor was awkward, unsympathetic, focused more on himself than me, was thankful that I cut back on video games (a counselor should NEVER shame you for your hobbies), told me to get friends (without explaining helpful methods to go about it, and once again making me feel ashamed of myself; especially if i didnt have any friends, or had trouble making them with everything else going on), as well as force me to get a job that i didnt want, would do me harm than good, and frankly have little time for as a full-time college student, especially since that's why Im here in the first place - to earn a degree for a better career, rather being stuck working McDonald's, or some other crappy part-time job for another 4 years. And then my favorite part - Residency. Man, what a headache that was! It took 5 high school transcipts, numerous legal documents, and dealing with mostly unhelpful, uncaring
