We have been using WNC Animal Hospital since we moved here 2 1/2 years ago. The whole staff is caring and compassionate. We love Dr. Bill Gibson, he is very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. He clearly is passionate about his job. He has a very calming effect in stressful situations. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Very happy with WCRAH! We have seen several of the doctors and all have been wonderful. They have been caring and knowledgable in guiding us through some scary and difficult situations, and are always cheerful and helpful with routine pet care. Excellent doctors, wonderful staff, and a very nice facility.
Very impressed. Know others who are similarly pleased. They saw us in the middle of the night on a holiday weekend. Worth the drive from Boiling Springs SC.
When we moved from MN, we arrived with two Great Danes and one old kitty. We tried one local vet office, but were disappointed with the experience we encountered. We decided to make appointments at this hospital for all of our 4-legged family members and were impressed from the moment we walked into the waiting area. Each of our pets was greeted by at least one person while we waited to see our doctor. Each person was kind and approached each pet in a very caring manner, knowing that animals can be quite tense in such situations. We have been going to this hospital for our three years in NC and every experience has been wonderful! We have had great care in all situations— routine health visits, nail trims, and emergency situations. We have always been exceedingly happy with the care and love shown to our 4-legged family members. We cannot say “thank you” enough times to all those who have helped, and continue to help, our family!
Dr. Owen and his assistant quickly put him in an ice bath and his temperature came back down. I cannot say enough about Dr. Owen and his two assistants who were with our dog the majority of the time. He was really in their hearts and they took such great care of our puppy and saved his life! The hospital is immaculate and everyone there is so kind and they all obviously love their jobs! Thank you so much for all you did to save our puppy. Today he is a happy, healthy dog, soon to be two years old. I wanted to be sure to thank you all, especially Dr. Owen! He is the absolute best! We highly recommend this animal hospital!! Also we have met several of the other doctors there and they are all very good. Thank you so much!!
Our 8-month old German Shepherd (approximately 80lbs. at the time) got into a bottle of Baclofen, a muscle relaxer, and ingested 26. We rushed him to our local vet — Rutherford Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Michelle Toms-Greene and her staff — who was able to get him stabilized. Dr. Toms-Greene then sent us to Western Carolina Animal Hospital in Flat Rock, NC, where they have 24-hour care. The staff greeted us at our car and brought our puppy inside. They were aware of the situation and immediately put him on IVs. He stayed overnight at the hospital with Dr. Owen and his great staff!! Our puppy’s temperature went up to 105 in the middle of the night and
